Distribution Figure 133 of Böggemann (2005: 227) maps the type locality of Glycinde bonhourei to Djibouti in the southern Red Sea ("palais du Gouverneur, à Djibouti."), but indicates most observations are from Northern Australia and the coast of Asia. It also has records in the Mediterranean in Böggemann from the Suez canal entrance area, and is recorded by others as a presumed introduced species in the Aegean Sea [details]
